Hawaiin Crosswinds

Hawaiian CrosswindsHawaiian Crosswinds by Linda Lee Chaikin

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Hawaiian people in 1892 were split on what was best for Hawaii.  Most of the plantation owners were for Annexation to the United States, but others were against it. And as often happens during a conflict, families and friends are divided. Now Rafe and his fiance Eden must try to reconcile their differences concerning Annexation.
But Rafe has other things to worry about at the same time. For one thing, he is trying to protect his mother and her adopted son from his stepfather who is suspected of murdering Rafe's father. The man is now on the run, and Rafe must track him down before anyone else gets hurt.

This was a good book from start to finish. I would recommend it to friends. I truly couldn't put this book down, it caught my attention right off. It was thought provoking and very well written, filled with romance and excitement.
It was an amazing story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Moody Press in exchange for my honest review.

The Christmas SweaterThe Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Christmas Sweater was a really good book..
WOW! This story is told through the eyes of a young boy, so often times we adults don't think the same way children think. This book teaches  the greatest meaning of life, love, and faith. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone . I will keep  this story  close to my heart.
I also purchased this book for my mother for a gift, can't wait until she reads it!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I remember reading  Dickens from school. At that time, I thought  it was boring but honestly, Dickens is an brilliant writer. Now that I  am older I have grown to appreciate what I was reading.  This was a very good book  and I  plan to read it again!
